As of 1st October 2015 the school uniform in Szekely Miko High School will be compulsory. Back in 2008, a survey revealed that 72% of the parents and 70% of the students would be willing to wear a uniform. According to the decision made by the uniform committee set up in 2012, all students must wear a uniform both on weekdays and at festive occasions. The festive dress consists of a white shirt or blouse and a vest, which can be completed with a coat and skirt for the girls and trousers for the boys. The weekday uniform is a collection of upper clothing, which ranges from T-shirts to rain coats, in three colours (white, blue and green), bearing the school logo.
